The Lord's ascension celebrated with the faithful in commemoration of the Lord's promise to keep watch and pray - further exhorted by the apostle Paul: breaking the bread of the anaphora and drinking of the cup of promise in the kingdom of peace and body of his Church until he comes again- the prayer of the Church to deliver a broken world and make it whole via his promise and presence in all things.
