A Mother for All

On the Eve of the Nativity of our All Holy Lady Theotokos, I believe that it is very important to pray for the Christians of the world who do not acknowledge Her importance in our lives.

We Christinas from the East and West and blessed to know Her as our Mother and greatest intercessor, however there are many Christians sects that do not recognise Her as Mother of the Lord's Church.

Unfortunately, this is what happens when one departs from the true Apostolic faith and enters into Heresy (departure from the Truth); it becomes in some way like a game of Chinese whispers (information gets lost along the lines).

I strongly think that rather pointing the finger; saying this or that group has entered into heresy, we should be praying that our Good Lord bring them back into the true fold and open their hearts and minds to what is reality and is not. No one has the right to point the finger so to say because we all fall short from perfection. There is only One who is perfect and that is Christ our Bishop and God!

Thus, Lord Jesus Christ we your Church, implore you in all humility to reveal Yours and our Mother Theotokos, that that all may come to Her and be sheltered under Her Omophorion. We ask that hearts of stone may turn to hearts of love and gratitude for this greatest gift You have bestowed upon humanity; a Mum! By your Glorious Cross that You conquered death upon hear us O Lord and have Mercy upon us. Amen
